Postpartum Support

Just getting out of the house with a newborn is a victory; making it to an appointment shouldn’t have to be. We offer thoughtful, flexible care you can access from home, because your mental health matters too.

“You just had a baby, but you don’t feel like yourself. That’s more common than you think, and you’re not alone.”

Care that understands the messy, beautiful, and overwhelming reality of new parenthood.

Becoming a parent can be one of the most life-altering experiences, and it’s not always what people expect. Maybe you feel anxious, irritable, or on edge. Maybe you can’t stop crying, or you’re just… numb. Maybe sleep deprivation has taken over, and your mind won’t stop racing at night. Maybe you love your baby, but you don’t feel like you anymore.

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure this out on your own.

You deserve care that gets it.

I'm Rachael Colley, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), former postpartum RN, and a mom who’s been there. I know the hidden parts of the postpartum experience, the parts people don’t always talk about.

I’ve supported hundreds of women clinically, but I’ve also walked through postpartum anxiety myself. I know how hard it is to ask for help when everyone expects you to feel nothing but joy. My practice is a judgment-free zone where you can be honest about your fears, your overwhelm, your intrusive thoughts, and your exhaustion, without shame.

What I help with:

  • Postpartum anxiety and panic

  • Intrusive or racing thoughts

  • Postpartum depression or mood swings

  • Rage, irritability, and overstimulation

  • Sleep challenges and mental overload

  • Grief over identity, body, or feeding choices

  • Relationship changes after baby

  • Medication management during breastfeeding

  • Support after traumatic birth experiences

What treatment looks like:

  • A compassionate, trauma-informed approach

  • Flexible telehealth visits, because getting out of the house can be hard

  • Options for safe, effective medications if needed

  • Support that’s grounded in real life, not just checklists

  • Coordination with your OB, PCP, therapist, or lactation consultant if desired

You're not failing. You're adjusting.

The early days of parenthood are intense. Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, it’s okay to need support. You don’t have to wait until things get worse, reach out when they feel off.

There is help. There is hope. And there’s a provider who truly understands.
